Welcome to our Journey

We are a family from Lynchburg, Virginia. Katie and I (Nate) have been married since 2015. Our firstborn son, Justus, was born in 2018 in Lynchburg and our second son, Salem, was born in 2020 in Abington, Pennsylvania.

We moved to Pennsylvania in August of 2020 to pursue the calling into ministry. I am attending Westminster Theological Seminary and Katie is hoping to remain a stay-at-home mom. We don’t know exactly what location or what form of ministry (e.g. missions, pastoral, music) the Lord is leading us to, but we are trying to serve Him faithfully in the ‘here and now’ and we’re excited to see where He brings us next.

This website was primarily made to inform all our loved ones about our progress along the journey to ministry. It is also an outlet; we hope that the authentic flavors expressed here, the bitter mixed with the sweet, will both encourage you and challenge you. Sadly, we rarely have enough time for more than a quick call or text here and there, so here we can lay the details out more fully and systematically… and artistically 🙂
